Novartis Consumer Health manufactures at its Lincoln, Nebraska facility many common human drugs such as Excedrin and Theraflu as well as veterinary products including Interceptor and Sentinel heartworm preventative.  Some problems such as broken tablets were noted with the human products.  Novartis has temporarily suspended all production at this Nebraska plant so they could update their facility and perform some quality control procedures.  Although the veterinary products have not had a problem, their manufacturing has been halted as well. Unfortunately we cannot purchase interceptor or sentinel at this time.  If you are out of Interceptor or Sentinel, fortunately we have other great heartworm preventative alternatives.
